So in real estate news, we met with Anne (the best realtor ever!) last night. Our current contract is up on 11/15. She showed us lots of data and we decided that the best thing to do is to take it off the market on 11/15 and put it on again on 2/1. Springtime! Typically October is a big month for sales but this year there is NOTHING selling due to the financial crisis. People just don't want to part with their money (not to say I blame them). We are really happy with our decision. If we had found our dream house, we would have considered a big price drop, but with no houses coming on the market, there is no rush. Messy house, here we come!
