Well, in 3 short days my BABY will be 3! It is funny that the past 3 years seem to go by so slow and so fast at the same time. I read somewhere that with kids, the days feel like marathons and the years feel like seconds. It is pretty true.

It has been so wonderful having Ian in our lives. It is hard for me to figure out what parts of his personality are because he is 3 and what is just him. I know for sure that he loves music and Toy Story. He has a high pain tolerance and hates to sleep. He isn't a picky in terms of what he eats, but is very choosy as to when he eats. He loves his family (even his little sister) and would rather be with us than anyone else (besides Boo the dog). His favorite playplaces are real cars and trucks. He is very outgoing and loves to play at other people's houses, but not necessarily with the other people. He talks ALOT. He doesn't like to sing in front of people (can't be my kid), but will happily play air guitar for them. He doesn't like to dance either, the best you get is a good head bob. He loves TV and would watch it ALL day if we let him. Throwing rocks or sticks in water is also another favorite activity. He enjoys pointing out planes and car carriers and excavators. Puzzles, the alphabet, and throwing a ball are easy for him. Potty training is hard for him. He has the blondest hair I've ever seen on anyone. We found out that he has 2 bottom teeth that are fused together this week. He has a birthmark on the back of his knee. What a cool kid!
