This past weekend was so tough. The Wiggles was fun, but ended badly. Ian saw some toys for sale on the way out and decided that crying and screaming to buy them for half an hour or so would be a good thing. It makes me wonder why we can't just have one activity go smoothly? It always has to be something.

On Saturday, I had the kids for most of the day. We went and did some errands and hung out in the AC at my parents. Both of them napped at the same time. Yippeee!

After dinner on Satruday, we went to the playground so Ian good burn off some steam. He was on a climbing wall about 2 feet off the ground when he slipped backward. He braced himself with his arm and got a slight dislocation called "nursemaid elbow". We brought him right to the ER because we didn't know what was going on. They did many X-Rays and no broken anything. He was a trooper, but his arm hasn't recovered as well as they had told us to expect. So today we are returning to the doctor.

On Sunday, we drove to our friend Bill & Kerri's house in Peabody. It was a 2 hour drive and I don't think Don and I are ready to do that one again any time soon. The kids were extremely cranky and if one wasn't crying in the car, the other one was. They were pretty good while we were there, but the fuss bug returned for the ride home. We couldn't get home fast enough.
