Houston, we have some words! Don and I decided that Leah spoke her first word last night. She has been saying "dadadadada" and "mamamamama" forever, but we didn't think she knew what they meant. Last night, she looked right at Don and said "Dada". So I asked her "who is this?" and pointed to Don and she said "dada" again! Now you never really know when they "get it" until a few weeks pass, but we are marking this down as the offical day.

Whenever January, April, July or October rolls around, I won't be posting much. It is just too busy at work. I don't know if you can tell then that I'm an accountant. It is an interesting schedule that we are on. It kind of limits my family/vacation time to certain months of the year. I really can only take off multiple days in those off months.

So in liu of a really thought provoking, in-depth analysis of why Ian STILL is not potty trained. I thought I'd just post some pictures taken with a camera phone of my kids. Enjoy!

I know 3 people due with their babies very soon. Good luck to Laura (Don's cousin), Jen and Lisa. Laura is expecting a brother for her son Liam. Jen is looking forward to making Jack a big brother. Lisa is awaiting her first baby. I can't wait to meet your little ones!

Well, Leah had her 9 month appt today. As Don said to me over the phone, she is short, fat and stupid. (I'm joking here)

Weight: 20lbs 12oz (75%)

Height: 27 3/4 in (50%)

Head: 17 1/4 in (40%)
