Picture Day!
Ian's school takes individual pictures of the kids every March. He wasn't going to this school last year, so we missed it. Anyway, siblings are invited to take pictures too. Since it had been awhile since we had formal pictures taken of the kids, we signed them both up. It is harder to get them ready and stay clean for pictures than anything. Ian isn't too bad, but Leah is tough. It is hard to find her an outfit that matches, shoes that match and the dreaded hair! Stresses me out. We got out of the house this morning clean and with only one bit of crying from Miss Leah (over the hair of course).
Parents aren't allowed in where they take the pictures, so Mrs. Gaston brought the kids in to the photographer. After Ian was finished, she told me to peek around through the kitchen to watch Leah. I couldn't believe what a big girl she was being. He had her sitting on a high stool and was telling her to look here and there and keep her hands in her lap. So cute! We shall see how the pictures come out. I couldn't see their faces.
